Pants. If there was one piece of clothing I could live without its pants. If you couldn't tell, I strongly dislike them. Don't get me wrong I think pants are extremely necessary in the winter, but dresses and skirts are just so much easy to wear. Here on Classically Short I'll be sharing not only the pain points I have with pants, and finding on trend silhouettes that actually look good on me, but I'll also be challenging myself to create the on trend pieces I can't seem to find in stores.

I am obsessed with this shirt from Friday + Saturday. I normally would never pay this much for a graphic tee, but as soon as I saw Poor Little It Girl post this tee on Instagram I immediately had to own it.
While I created an About page on here, I thought I'd expand on it and give you a little more background on me (I also couldn't think of how to kick Classically Short off so I thought this was the best solution!).
For those of you that don't know, Classically Short is not my first blogging venture. While I was in college, I decided to create a blog (The Discount Prepster) about how I was going to completely change my style and overhaul my wardrobe without paying full price for anything. I have to say, I think I was pretty on point with achieving my goal. With the help from my fashion forecasting class (during Junior year) I really started to fall in love with blogging and sharing my views, comments, and opinions on the fashion industry, as well as my life with my readers. Once I graduated, and started working in the real world, I took some time off from blogging to balance out my priorities and unplug from social media for a while.
It's been almost a year since I last posted on TDP, and I have to say I'm super excited to start Classically Short and share my love/hate relationship for pants with all of you! If you have a thought, opinion, or idea of what you want to see here on Classically Short please leave a comment or shoot me an email, I'd love to hear from you.
Welcome to Classically Short!
